Glynn Webb Illustrations

911 Classic are delighted to introduce Glynn Webb, a young man who has amazing talent.

Glynn’s Father works at 911 Classic in his spare time.  Well known in Porsche circles, he mentioned one day that his Son, Glynn, produces automotive illustrations as a hobby and asked if I would be interested in seeing some examples of his work.

The next weekend Glynn came up with his Father, clutching an art folder and took out a picture of a Ferrari that he had hand-drawn.  I have seen many automotive drawings/sketches/paintings over the years and I have to say that I was literally gob-smacked by the quality and attention to detail – it was more like a photograph than a drawing.   Have a look at the pictures of this actual drawing which are below, together with close- ups, and I think that you’ll agree that Glynn is an incredibly gifted young man.

More on the man himself - Glynn Webb is a self-taught artist, based on the South East coast of England and specialises in producing highly detailed images of the World's great classic sports and racing cars. These meticulously crafted pieces of work are created over many hours using a distinctive technique of coloured pencil on high quality art board.  Glynn is not just a very talented artist he also understands and appreciates the quality of the cars he draws.

Glynn’s work doesn’t stop at cars and bikes he has produced many pieces with on a diverse range of subjects.

Glynn has undertaken several commissioned pieces for various private collections as well as higher profiled clients (such as Porsche Cars Great Britain) and he would be happy discuss any aspect of his work and future projects.

If you’re looking to capture perfectly your own car or would like Glynn to produce a drawing of your dream car please contact sales@911classic.co.uk for further details.

Matthew Stevens Motor Art

Matthew Stevens has become known for a style unique among motoring artists, using traditional techniques to produce work which is unmistakeable, gaining him an international following.

In a style reminiscent of sixties pop art, Stevens has taken the depiction of the greatest cars of all time to a new level, reinforcing their iconic status. With such bold use of colour and scale, coupled with a fastidious technique, his work needs to be seen to be fully appreciated so he exhibits whenever he has the opportunity.

After graduating from UWCC in Medieval History & Archaeology, Matthew worked in the music industry until he decided to devote all his time to automotive art.

Since the last 'Art & Collectibles' supplement his work was seen at the Goodwood 'Festival of Speed' and 'Revival', Stoneleigh, Alexandra Palace
and the NEC.

He has also had features in both 'Classic and Sports Car' and 'Classic Cars' magazine, and has provided artwork for the 'Art History' feature in the US magazine 'Vintage Racecar Journal'.

Now with an established reputation, Stevens intends to make his work available to commission and is happy to discuss all aspects of this process, from conception to completion.
